For Spring Break this year, we headed to the Cayman Islands and visited Grand Cayman. We loved it! Grand Cayman is a British Island with beautiful beaches! We had a great time hanging out and enjoying the sun and the sand!

Pretty turquoise waters!

This is where we stayed--The Royal Reef Resort.

And here's the car we rented. It's one of the littlest cars I've ever seen. When we parked next to other cars, you couldn't even tell we were in the space. In Cayman, you drive on the left side of the road. It took us a few days to get used to that! Every time we turned, we had to think about which way to go and which side of the road to turn onto. Also, the windshield wipers and turn signals are switched, so we frequently washed our windows instead of signaling a turn. It was a pretty fun adventure learning to drive on the wrong side of the road.

Here we are at a fancy dinner--one of my favorite nights. We went to dinner at "The Grand Old House" a fancy old house turned into a restaurant. The food was delicious and we had a great table. We were sitting right on the water and got to watch the sunset. It was a fun, romantic evening.

Tyson made friends with the locals.

Here we are just taking a walk along the beach.

Pretty scenery.
We had a great time on our trip! We got to go to Sting Ray City, but I don't have the pictures on my camera. Sting Ray City is a sandbar where fishermen used to clean out the fish they caught. The sting rays came to the sandbar to eat the fish guts. Now, tourists go out there to feed the sting rays. They literally eat out of people's hands. Tyson and I both fed them--it was an interesting experience. Tyson loved the sting rays and thought they were really cool. I was a little freaked out by them and didn't spend as much time in the water with them as Tyson did. They would swim up right behind you and all the sudden you would feel a sting ray tickling the back of your legs! Very creepy! There's an old tradition that says that if you kiss a sting ray, you get seven years of good luck. Tyson and I are looking forward to the next 7 years! ;)
