Home Improvements

Tyson and I love our house, but we have been trying to make some improvements.  We've replaced most of the light fixtures, started redoing some of the landscaping, scraped the popcorn texture off of the ceiling, and put up a skip-trowel texture on the ceiling.  This past weekend, Tyson's parents and brother came out for the weekend.  Unfortunately for them, we put them straight to work!  The ceiling in our family room is two stories high so we rented some scaffolding, put the new texture on the ceiling, painted the family room, and put a new fan and light in the ceiling.  It's exciting to see our house coming together and becoming "ours."  It's fun to see the progress and our hard work pay off.  The picture is of Tyson and his dad up on the scaffolding, painting the ceiling.  I took the picture from the loft on the second floor so you can't see how high they are.  We are so grateful to Tyson's family and all their hard work!

Looks like things are going good with the house! We're excited to see what else you've done. We'll be out in the beginning of August so we hope we can catch you guys!
