In Remembrance

A close family friend recently died in a tragic, unexpected way.  While we mourn for our friend, we have also taken this opportunity to appreciate the blessings of the gospel.  It is comforting to Tyson and me to know that we have been sealed in the temple and no matter what happens in this life, we can be together forever.  We should remember that our plan is not the same as Heavenly Father's plan and only through trusting in Him and His plan can we find true happiness in life.  We must always strive to choose the right because we never know when Heavenly Father will call us home.  And finally, we must make the most of the life we have been given.  As Tyson and I have talked about this tragedy, we find that we appreciate each other more and we have a greater desire to make every moment we have together count.  While we are truly sad for our friend, and especially his family, we take comfort in knowing that even if we can't make sense out of this terrible event, Heavenly Father is in control and all we have to do is trust in Him.  Our prayers are with the Alley family.  We pray that they too can find the comfort only the gospel can bring.
